I’m learning (the hard way) that in difficult times, the very first thing to do is to accept change — fully, in all its painful reality.
It seems to me that we cannot find relief or evolve without truly accepting what is happening.
It also seems that after acceptance, the next step is to be thankful for the change.
Only then do we begin to see — in a brighter light — the wonderful reality unfolding just a few centimeters from our nose.
Someone once told me that all change happens for our good.
But unfortunately, before surrendering to the new reality, we spend so much time asking “why” and fighting against what has already become the past.
Quickly now — it’s time to open up to new possibilities.
They’re there, they truly are. Open your eyes again — your childlike eyes.
Experiment, play, and explore what presents itself now as a new possibility.
Avoid comparing it to the past!
Start again… to live fully.
The Process for Dummies (like me):
1) Accept the change
2) Be thankful for the change
3) Open yourself to new possibilities
4) Choose and test new approaches
5) Start again — live fully
